Description
We propose the integration of a compact 6-degree of Freedom Thrust System enabling close proximity operation on small-sats for both commercial and defense use in close proximity operations. Phase I will result in the optimization of the design, leveraging existing cold-gas or other simple and effective thrust solutions and determination of specific arrangements optimized for minimal moving parts in order to achieve a system capable of discretely moving bi-directionally along any of the 6-axis in 3-dimensional space.
