Our team proposes a Phase I solution for Smart Model Repository (SMR) that will lay the foundation for an autonomous service that assembles models, documentation, and insights from modeling and simulation (M&S) subject matter experts (SMEs) into meaningful knowledge structures enabling M&S as a Service for all analysts, operators, and technologists. Our approach will initially focus on the knowledge base structure, informed by our extensive Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis (MS&A) expertise on how we can efficiently store and correlate model metadata. We will then develop autonomous systems to parse existing model artifacts to populate these fields within a Model Catalog. Using this architecture, we will demonstrate the rapid evaluation and identification of suitable models given an abstract analytic objective. This solution will empower the analyst and expand the userbase to those without a pre-existing M&S background.
