Description
The Joint Effects Toolchain (JET) is a simulation-enhanced software environment to facilitate the rapid exploration of kinetic, space, cyber, and electronic effects. This solution will include an intuitive Graphical User Interface (GUI) that presents the analyst with a curated catalog of weapon systems and effects, an authoritative threat laydown, and seamless integration with an underlying simulation engine. The analyst then can focus on a particular region, such as an IADS sector, as a vignette. Given an inventory of existing and concept effects, the user can specify times and effects on targets. The GUI will leverage the underlying simulation engine such as AFSIM to run the new mission including the modified vignette. Analytics developed in later development phases will highlight the changes in the simulation results against an established baseline.
