Description
The primary objective of this project is to demonstrate the feasibility of sourcing commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) components, making minor modification if necessary, and facilitating component integration to fulfill Marine Corps requirements for an advanced low-level (ALL) parachute system. A proprietary numerical model will quickly predict parachute inflation and flight characteristics to describe any necessary modifications to commercially sourced components, and Kennon's team is prepared to fly prototype parachutes in Phase 1 to demonstrate the capabilities of commercial systems.
