Description

In SBIR, our company, in collaboration with General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS), has developed a small, adaptive form factor Multi-level Security Cyber Encryption Module (MSCEM). Air Force airworthiness qualification is scheduled for Q2 2022. The hypervisor is a Cross Domain Solution (CDS) architected with a cognitive artificial intelligence and machine learning core IP. The MSCEM hypervisor CDS hierarchy control point core is capable of reading, parsing, and intelligently routing to associate security domains, messages, data, images, and video. NSA certification to Raise-the-Bar for cybersecurity of drones and precision munitions is scheduled to be completed in Q4 2022 with USAF funding. The tactical (T-CDS) performs many of the cryptography functions identified in the NAVAIR topic for use with manned/unmanned teams. MSI and GDMS have teamed to propose a program of new research and development that will extend many of the functions of the hypervisor with the remaining capabilities identified in the SBIR topic; and upgrade the T-CDS module with weight, power, and size reductions to meet, as much as possible, the weight, power, and size objectives. Phase II will complete development of the cross-domain control measures and demonstrate a fully capable multilevel security CDS for applications across naval airborne platforms.
