Description
The DLA has a need to identify competent and qualified domestic suppliers for mission-critical items that are becoming increasingly scarce. At conclusion of the Phase II contract, Mentis will have generated Technical Data Packages and Source Approval Requests for 19 components, with focus on TF33 engine parts. Mentis will review all existing information to ensure no additional information is needed for all the components, with a reverse engineering effort expected on several components. With the parts fully defined through the legacy TDP or the reverse engineering effort, Mentis will generate a drawing package for each component, including the required specifications and dimensions to maintain the quality of the legacy components. A Source Approval Request will be generated containing information needed to procure the part and all quality documentation required to verify the requirements of manufacturing are met. At conclusion of the Phase II, Mentis anticipates becoming, or being on track to becoming, an approved source for all components as part of this effort.
