Description

In order to realize broad-based improvements in military capabilities, significant advances in electric power generation are required. A soldier wearable power source with higher power output, increased energy density, greater efficiency, and improved reliability will significantly reduce soldier pack weight while enabling new mission capabilities. A lightweight and conformal 10 W power generator that is capable of operating on JP-8 and a variety of other liquid fuels will be developed in the proposed program.
