Description

Gyrene’s Mangrove is the only autonomous, mobile “water-harvesting” technology that incorporates a second-generation metal organic framework (MOF) desiccant that can selectively harvest water from the atmosphere at a relative humidity (RH) down to 12%. Additionally, the atmospheric water generator (AWG) integrates with a patented coolant system (CV-1), which lowers the energy required for water harvesting by an additional 80% compared to standard compressor-condenser systems. The Mangrove’s high capacity exportable 12.9 kW battery pack silently powers both its water generators as well as other electronic equipment if needed. The Mangrove has an internal water tank capacity of 12 gallons and produces >21.6 gallons of sterile water from the air per day. It can also produce 15 gallons of potable water per hour (360 gallons/day) from fresh, brackish, or salt water sources. 2.4. Gyrene has a full platform minimal viable product (MVP) currently available in the public market that will allow the design and development of the full set of defense-specific features based on early adopter feedback. Defense-related modifications could include ruggedization, systems integration, or the addition of Defense specific sensors and communications to support Air Force Bases and remote locations with redundant and robust resiliency measures during natural disasters and potential attacks from our enemies.
