Description
Reengineer critical items that are no longer available due to loss of suppliers and their design, manufacturing and test data items and equipment. Using a sample NSN item, In Phase I, Marine Electric Systems will create a new design, manufacturing and test data package for each item that addresses form, fit, function, obsolescence qualification/requalification, acceptance testing, troubleshooting/repair and life-cycle sustainment, These items are critical shortages affecting ship operations.
