Description
During the base period, PEI will evaluate the Marine Corps Ground Based Air Defense (GBAD) system to identify structural components that can be designed and manufactured using high strength, composite materials that do not corroded, reduce weight lower the systems center of gravity, and allow additional payloads to be integrated into the system. The GBAD is mounted on the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) as well as the L-MADIS version which is mounted on an Ultra Light Weight Tactical Vehicle.
