Description
The Joint Data Lake for C2 (JDLC2) solution as an agile cloud-based C2 environment that enables distributed teams to seamlessly share data, maintain real-time Common Operating Picture (COP), and collaborate even if their legacy systems are incompatible. Building upon previous SBIR work by Praeses, the objective of JDLC2 is to leverage this previous work for data management systems to develop, integrate, test, demonstrate, and deliver a JDLC2 prototype for application and extended user evaluation at NORTHCOM. The JDLC2 solution will provide a framework to create synergies between strategic, operational, and tactical Defense Support of Civil Authorities (DSCA) C2. Unlocking information from incompatible data silos will allow that data to be fused and exploited for data sharing across networks. Using data deconfliction technology previously developed by Praeses will serve to improve quality and traceability of data. By thus facilitating communication and collaboration across the enterprise JDLC2 will support enhanced decision making at tactical and operational C2 levels at NORTHCOM for DSCA and other Homeland Defense activities and, by extension, to any joint operations environment.
