Description

The USAF is looking for a solution that will automate cyber security compliance and underlying processes. Because of the importance of worker activity in cyber compliance, a collaborative, human-centered approach to automating continuous risk monitoring and cyber security compliance is needed. Beacon proposes to leverage its Connex Digital Work Management Platform (incubated under the US Navy SBIR program for safety and maintenance compliance activities) and explore implementing “Connex for Cyber Compliance� for the USAF. Our vision is a platform providing visibility of the USAF’s required cyber security compliance processes and risk metrics in embedded workflows, connecting compliance and operational data, and generating insights (based on supporting analytics) to automate decision making now and in the future. This information will be available to everyone in the cyber security compliance chain of command as determined by access level. The proposed technology will: 1) create a Digital Thread of compliance activities connecting all participants in the process, 2) facilitate the collection of compliance related data, 3) configure compliance activity workflows, 4) apply AI and ML concepts to “predict� and “mitigate� future risk areas, and 5) manage the process through one common user interface.
