Description
Camgian’s offering and capabilities center around the Prowl® Android Tactical Assault Kit (ATAK) Application / Plug-in and the Prowl Radar System. Prowl’s RF architecture, RF signaling, and digital signal processing techniques enable tracking of human targets out to 500 meters in an open field with total power draw of about 1 watt. Prowl is an ideal system for use in Force Protection such as those that Air Force Special Operations Airmen encounter. Prowl affords operators an additional resource for their protection and allows operators to interact with the system through the ATAK plug-in interface on a mobile device providing them up-to-date situational awareness when deployed in austere locations. Prowl devices may be deployed around a desired perimeter to cover blind spots, give coverage on the other side of hills or obstructions, or in foliage environments to provide early warning detection of approaching adversaries. Prowl may also assist in reducing the number of personnel required for patrols and provides persistent coverage where patrols may only be able to provide periodic coverage of individual areas. Prowl can assist operator missions such as installation perimeter security, forward-operating area perimeter protection, small patrol protection, or for example, while preparing and securing temporary landing zones.
