Clairvoyant and StorageOS’s discussions with USAF prospects show that existing storage solutions for Red Hat OpenShift (USAF Selected Application Container Platform) do not meet their technical requirements. These prospects require a secure, performant, scalable, easy-to-use platform and want to test StorageOS. Having experience this problem in the financial services industry, StorageOS’ founder built a cloud native, platform agnostic, software-defined storage solution that runs in a container, next to the application, that delivers persistent storage for database and message queue workloads in containers. StorageOS is built from the ground-up with no legacy restrictions to give users total control of their storage with no compromise on performance, availability or security. Clairvoyant is the US reseller and technical services delivery partner for StorageOS. In Phase 1, we will prove that we can deploy StorageOS in an OpenShift environment enabling the USAF to deliver highly available, encrypted, performant storage that saves the Air Force time and money in delivering new applications and maintaining existing deployments. This will enable us to move to a phase 2 deployment in the USAF’s environment where we can quickly demonstrate the features, time to market advantage, and cost savings that this innovation will deliver to the USAF.
