Description

GLSV seeks to complete the development of the active fan/blow noise reduction system. Through the Phase I effort, GLSV has proved feasibility in all key aspects of the system requirements. Efforts were taken to best understand the state of technology by conducting research and consulting with technical leaders of previous research development projects. System integration concepts and control methodologies were developed, analyzed, and refined through finite element analytical modeling and testing. A universal active fan noise cancellation system will be developed specifically for use in military ground vehicle applications.
