Description
Publicly Available Information (PAI) data sources are becoming increasingly ubiquitous in facilitating discovery of events. Currently, the tipping and cueing process of corroborating the discovered events with traditional intelligence sources is underdeveloped. Commonly, Requests for Information (RFIs) are passed to systems in an ad-hoc manner, often resulting in RFIs that fall through the cracks. The EpochGeo - BlackSky team proposes to develop an automated PAI Collection Management system that will incorporate automated event discovery, and blockchain oracles enabling smart contract requests to both traditional and PAI sources. The advantage of this system is properly organized and prioritized RFIs, as well as the memorialization of which datasets performed best at initializing, enriching, and corroborating events. Automation of the process will improve efficiency and efficacy, while reducing cost to the collection apparatus.
