Description
Currently, the United States Air Force (USAF) is beginning the undertaking of bringing in efficiencies and insights of the Internet of Things (IoT) into manufacturing and production spaces in trying to achieve the same level of maturity that many private companies and corporations are currently leveraging. Initiatives, such as LSE 2040, are an example of such endeavors. In addition to these activities, Sabel Systems contends that those same efficiencies and cost savings realized in Industrial IoT, should also be applied to USAF facilities. Proactive monitoring and management, through increased operational visibility, will help the U.S. Air Force realize cost savings through improved safety, operational efficiency, energy savings and reduced maintenance costs
