Description
There is a “race for technologyâ€Â and staying competitive is essential to keeping America safe. By providing warfighters with the most cutting edge technology and processes, the Air Force can continually innovate and evolve. Startup Community Inc (SCI) will help the USAF set the bar for engaging with those creating leading-edge technologies. Our goals are to see a future where: - The most innovative creators in our country seek out AF customers because it is the most forward-thinking organization in the world. - Innovators are educated on how to engage with the USAF, and we’ve helped reduce the frictions that exist today. - Airmen on bases across the US know about local innovators near them, and have the resources to quickly engage with them to solve their own issues. The ultimate benefit is to keep our Air Force competitive through innovation. Our solution has the potential to help exactly where needed. We will build out regional partner resources for bases, educate innovation communities on getting their technology in front of the AF (understanding potential, what to expect), and create the playbooks so this becomes a repeatable, scaleable, continuously growing effort.
