Description
Creative Microsystems will develop the Modular Vision Processing System (MVPS) for the VAS system of TALOS. CMC will incorporate the system into the bridge of the wide field of view night vision goggles, such as the GPNVG. The system will be based on the Movidius Myriad 2 visual processing unit combined with CMCs techniques to receive and send large amounts of image data over restricted interfaces. The Myriad 2 promises to provide a unique platform for multiple camera frame capture, embedded image processing and low power computation.
