Description
Legacy UHF-SATCOM has an enduring presence including coalition missions that cannot be replaced by the newer MUOS system. The solution presented enables the government to evolve management and control of current UHF-SATCOM system assets thru the adoption of an Open System Architecture designed to simplify the introduction of technology advances while supporting transition of existing equipment and software systems.
This architecture provides government purpose rights for technical data and provide key features including a Domain Specific Modeling (DSM) engine to allow system engineers to enter MIL-Standard specification updates to generate system revisions for application controller systems with minimal coding impact. The solution leverages our Integrated Waveform (IW) controller to provide full IW support. Powerful reporting capabilities and Test/Training Modes allows experimentation and validation with accelerated timing and without actual RF transmission.
We will provide a cross-domain solution to the problem of controller and planning terminals operating at a higher security classification. Our experience with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) allows a new cyber-hardened security architecture that exceeds accreditation requirements.
Working with industry our teams extensive experience in Software Defined Radios (SDR) enables us to provide an Open Reference Model supporting the best-of-breed capabilities into Control Terminal (CT) elements.
