Description
RE2 proposes the development of the Automated Robotic Cargo Handling (ARCH) system that will allow for autonomous loading and unloading of cargo in an austere landing zone for helicopter system. The ARCH system is a modular robotic system which can be rapidly installed into the cargo bar of an aircraft without modification of the aircraft. This system will allow faster autonomous loading and unloading of cargo to reduce the overall exposure of personnel and equipment in tactical landing zones
