Description
SAZE Technologies will investigate multiple hardware and software techniques, both state of the art and new, to determine which combination will produce the most effective multi-mode radar, communications and electronic warfare system. The most promising combination of techniques will be molded into a preliminary system design and its performance for the different missions analyzed. The application of the techniques to existing radar systems will also analyzed. In the Phase 1 option SAZE will perform experiments to demonstrate critical function of the new techniques thereby attaining Technology Readiness Level 3, setting up for success in Phase 2. Working with the major DoD radar, communications and electronic warfare suppliers SAZE Technologies will have the techniques ready for insertion into the NG-FIRES program during its prototype design phase currently scheduled for 2019. SAZE has identified other transition opportunities as well.
