Description
In this program, Micro-Precision Technologies (MPT) will become an Approved Source of three transistors for the PAVE PAWS program, National Stock Number (NSN) 5961-01-053-3316, NSN 5961-01-051-6655, and NSN 5964-01-051-6656. This effort results from the request of the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) to improve product availability and increase competition for those NSN parts for the Nuclear Enterprise Support Office (NESO) where sources of supply are scarce. In Phase II, MPT will reverse engineer each transistor from a government-provided technical data package and submit a Source Approval Request (SAR) and two prototype test units each to the US Air Force Engineering Support Activity (ESA) for evaluation.
