Description
The goal of this project is to demonstrate a highly flexible space based CubeSat communications payload interoperating with are variety of ground systems.The primary objective is to demonstrate the versatility of space based software defined radio (SDR) technology with ground based software defined radio technology.The Vulcan Wireless has proposed a versatile CubeSat communications payload that can provide a robust platform to host advanced communications techniques for collecting data from distributed terrestrial based wireless network devices.The advanced networking layer will allow the devices to leverage distributed machine to machine communications enabling a global internet of things.The system is also user definable and can upload and run ad hoc waveforms and protocols.
