Description
Wolf's energy-absorbing, blast-attenuating seat for wheeled vehicles automatically adapts its dynamic response to the weight of the seated occupant, without any adjustment or manipulation by a human and without requiring any power for sensing acceleration. The seat automatically adapts to and protects the full range of occupant weights from the 5th percentile female to the 95th percentile, fully-encumbered male. The seat is completely mechanical, and designed with minimal interface requirements to the vehicle, making it versatile enough to retrofit into most tactical wheeled vehicles.
