Description
Yotta Navigation proposes to continue developing a robust capability to determine human motion in GPS denied environments. Phase I testing showed that it is possible to achieve 95% motion detection accuracy. This capability will significantly improve a warfighters ability to accurately navigate under difficult tactical conditions. For Phase II, Yotta navigation will provide both a software and a hardware solution. The software will consist of a portable library for embedded devices, and a standalone application (App) for use on Linux/Android handheld devices. The hardware will be upgrades to the existing MOUTman, a rugged, secure, compact, high-precision real-time human motion detection sensor and navigation aid. The MOUTman system takes advantage of Yotta Navigations existing expertise in several areas: hardware development, inertial navigation, user interface, COTS component integration, and a deep knowledge of real-time systems. This solution also features innovative security and communication capabilities. The system is expandable and can incorporate new sensors, user interface, and input/output devices as they become available. Yotta Navigations approach will provide reliable motion detection, positioning, attitude (orientation), and altitude (elevation) data, all in the total absence of GPS.
