Description

SRICO proposes state-of-the-art metamaterial based sensing technology to coherent hyperspectral imaging in the W-band portion of the MMW spectrum. The metamaterial absorber pixel design provides spectrally tailored and phase sensitive vector mode sensing capability critical for W-band imaging. The proposed imaging array features spectrally tailored and deeply sub-wavelength size metamaterial pixels, making the technology highly amenable to hyperspectral imaging. The array can detect threats with better than 10 cm resolution at 10 meters and have a noise equivalent temperature difference of 5 degrees Kelvin or less.
