Description
Auxon’s core product, Modality, has revolutionized the testing of complex systems by providing tools that can identify bugs and system design flaws automatically, at a speed and scale many, many times greater than current methods. By leveraging computer processing and principles from chaos engineering, Modality can be 5000% faster than today’s approaches, compressing debugging time from days and weeks to minutes and hours. This automated analysis is based on inducing stress, observing reactions, and building understanding of end-users’ real devices and systems. Unlike previous methods, Modality makes it possible to reason about an entire system as it’s operating and, when something goes wrong, to track the relevant execution, identify the code responsible, and get problems fixed. This Phase I feasibility study will help us progress our understanding of applications in simulation, particularly those with on-orbit use-cases, like those outlined in the OSAM mission. As a result of the Phase I, we would pursue a subsequent Phase II to further adapt and refine our technology for the unique demands of space and on-orbit applications. Specifically, to enable the Space Force achieve more capable system designs that have greater assurances for resiliency and security.
