Description
Ballydel Technologies will develop a novel, minimally invasive, and cost-effective fiber optic sensor technology that efficiently interrogates the interior of red phosphorous containers for the presence of phosphine. The approach is passive in nature, withstand the potentially corrosive environment associated with phosphine, and takes up minimal space within a munition container. During the phase I effort, the linear and dynamic range of this technique will be elucidated.
