Description
Abstract The Enexor BioEnergy xTechSBIR Phase II project will demonstrate how the Enexor Bio-CHP, a modular, grid-independent, distributed renewable energy technology, will enable Army facilities to redirect organic and plastic waste from ending in landfills to generating onsite, 24/7 reliable, and affordable renewable power and thermal energy to meet the Army Climate Strategy’s (ACS) End State and Goals. Enexor’s Bio-CHP system uses a patented and proprietary non-gasification technology to convert a wide range of organic, plastic, and biomass waste, in any combination, into clean renewable energy. Enexor will install Bio-CHP systems at an Army facility to demonstrate system performance, with minimal warfighter operational support required. The project will also demonstrate how the Bio-CHP systems can be relocated on military installations within a 48-hour period, providing significant energy resiliency improvement benefits.
