INFINITY LABS LLC — Department of Defense SBIR Phase I: MDA21-008

INFINITY LABS LLC — SBIR Phase I award from Department of Defense.

Phase I SBIR feasibility signal

  • Phase I awards fund proof-of-concept work. For capture teams, they mark early interest from Department of Defense in a technical approach.
  • Watch for Phase II follow-ons from the same firm/topic family — that conversion path is where budgets and transition pressure rise.
  • Obligated amount $149,933. Cross-check similar awards in the same agency and technology tags for going-rate context.

Description

Infinity Labs proposes a Phase I solution that will lay the foundation for a Missile Defense Evaluation and Assessment Tool (MDEAT). This tool will provide a means to analyze a missile defense system’s performance against multi-missile raid scenarios and portray results through intuitive visualizations. We will create a set of simulations to generate synthetic training and validation data. We will produce precise statistical definitions of metrics representing missile defense parameters, a set of methodologies for deriving these metrics from simulation outputs, and algorithms for interpolating or extrapolating the metrics generated by a subset of the complete design space. Our approach seeks to derive concise, meaningful metrics to describe the probable outcome of a complex and interconnected battlespace. Approved for Public Release | 21-MDA-11013 (19 Nov 21)
