TRUSTED SEMICONDUCTOR SOLUTIONS INC — SBIR Phase II award from Department of Defense.
Phase II SBIR prototype / development signal
- Phase II is where Department of Defense funds deeper R&D after feasibility. Incumbents with Phase II history are serious competitors on adjacent topics.
- Use this award as past-performance context and to map customer organizations for STRATFI/TACFI-style transition planning.
- At $2,394,558, this is a large obligation for typical SBIR Phase sizing — worth reviewing for scope breadth and teaming opportunity.
- Topic code AF182-061 links this award to a solicitation family — search the same topic stem for incumbents and recompete timing.

Description
The overall objective of this program is to develop an open platform of strategic radiation hardened Intellectual Property (IP) on the commercially available 45nm silicon on insulator (SOI) foundry technology from Global Foundries to enable development of application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs), system on a chips (SoCs), and other custom integrated circuits. Trusted Semiconductor Solutions will develop a strategic radiation hardened digital library, latches and flip flops, memory bit cells, cache memory, phase locked loop (PLL), and a voltage reference IP. The rad hard IP will be validated in silicon through an IP test chip that will be radiation tested to strategic levels. This Phase II SBIR program focuses on the development of foundational IP and it sets the stage for future specialized IP development. Approved for Public Release | 21-MDA-11013 (19 Nov 21)
