EMAG TECHNOLOGIES INC. — Department of Defense SBIR Phase I: A20-131
EMAG TECHNOLOGIES INC. — SBIR Phase I award from Department of Defense.
Phase I SBIR feasibility signal
- Phase I awards fund proof-of-concept work. For capture teams, they mark early interest from Department of Defense in a technical approach.
- Watch for Phase II follow-ons from the same firm/topic family — that conversion path is where budgets and transition pressure rise.
- Obligated amount $111,448. Cross-check similar awards in the same agency and technology tags for going-rate context.
- Topic code A20-131 links this award to a solicitation family — search the same topic stem for incumbents and recompete timing.

Description
The primary objective of this SBIR project is to develop a plugin for Unreal Engine 4 that can be used to simulate a wireless radio network using the Unreal Engine environment (e.g. landscape map, weather, buildings, vehicles) that supports the same conditions as in the real world (e.g. line of distance interference) for evaluation of robotic and autonomous systems (RAS) operating in Manned-Unmanned Teaming (MUMT) scenarios. The Phase I feasibility study will develop a comprehensive software architecture and will describe how it will meet the goal of creating Radio Network Model Plugin for Unreal Engine Vehicle Simulation. The proposed software will be based on EMAG’s revolutionary near-real-time Polarimatrix solver for physics based-communication channel and link analysis.
