Description

Naval Flight Officers (NFOs) in the Maritime Patrol community do not have a chance to try out tactical strategies based on their coursework until they get to an expensive scheduled full-up simulator training event.  Sonalysts’ Maritime Patrol Aircraft Portable Tactics Trainer (MPAT) desktop tactics trainer will allow Maritime Patrol Aircraft (MPA) operators to practice tactics within a diverse and comprehensive range of realistic training scenarios, integrated with NFO course work curriculum and Learning Objective (LOs) proficiency assessment so students can practice situations where they need the most help. Built with Sonalysts’ Simulation Engine II (SEII),  a tactical combat simulation framework for developing training solutions developed by Sonalysts at private expense, MPAT features MPA operational displays, virtual crewmembers, script-based customizable platform Artificial Intelligence (AI) behaviors, variable-fidelity modeling of sensors, munitions, and countermeasures, emulated tactical data links, scenario editing, realistic undersea acoustic sound propagation environments, and assessment of Measures of Performance and Effectiveness (MOPs/MOEs).
