Description

The Air Force currently lacks the ability to monitor the real-time physiological performance of aircrew and mission partners. This is especially problematic during high altitude unpressurized operations and has resulted in several physiological incidents leading to cancelation of training events and mission degradation costing hundreds of thousands of dollars per incident. FireHUD’s BioTrac Platform solves this problem. By simply wearing an armband, aircrews enable authorized officials to view their critical vital signs such as heart rate, oxygen levels, and exertion in real-time, with the ability to narrow in on individuals in distress while supervising the group. Additionally, the data collected is saved in a HIPAA compliant platform and can be used for further analysis by flight doctors to determine the effectiveness of training regimens or predict long-term health trends at both the individual and team level.
