Description

In this program, Micro-Precision Technologies (MPT) will become an Approved Source for National Stock Number (NSN) 5985-01-054-5861, a coaxial UHF directional coupler with internal load termination on coupled lines for the PAVE PAWS program. This effort results from the request of the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) to improve product availability and increase competition for those NSN parts for the Nuclear Enterprise Support Office (NESO) where sources of supply are scarce. MPT reverse engineered the directional coupler from the government-provided technical data package and submitted a Source Approval Request (SAR) in Phase I and will qualify and produce prototype test parts in Phase II.
