Description
Biometric monitoring is a solution to overexertion, but current biometric monitoring systems all have at least one drawback: they are not logistically viable for large groups, are not rugged, are uncomfortable, cause rashes, stop recording data when out of range, have poor battery life, or simply don’t track all of the desired measurements. Version 1 of the FireHUD system was a huge improvement over previously developed biometric monitoring solutions, but it still is not certified for many use cases, cannot be configured for many defense and commercial use cases, stops recording when out of range, does not alert the wearer directly, cannot integrate with other devices, and does not record all the data necessary to get a full picture on location, orientation, stamina, health and wellness of the wearer. Version 2 of the FireHUD system, which is in development now, will solve all these problems and more with one easy-to-use, highly configurable, and rugged armband device.
