Description
During this project the development of Supplier Approval Requests (SARs) for urgently needed components will occur. Using a proven SAR development process, the packages will be developed and submitted to the relevant Engineering Authority. DLA is attempting to develop qualified sources to improve product availability and provide competition for reduced lead time, cost, as well as address lifecycle performance issues. These SARs will target these urgently needed items to relieve issues in procuring these items.
