GRAF RESEARCH CORPORATION — Department of Defense SBIR Phase II: AF221-DCSO1
GRAF RESEARCH CORPORATION — SBIR Phase II award from Department of Defense.
Phase II SBIR prototype / development signal
- Phase II is where Department of Defense funds deeper R&D after feasibility. Incumbents with Phase II history are serious competitors on adjacent topics.
- Use this award as past-performance context and to map customer organizations for STRATFI/TACFI-style transition planning.
- Obligated amount $1,250,000 is consistent with substantial Phase II-scale effort; compare to related awards from the same agency.

Description
The objective of this effort is real time on-vehicle detection of wideband pulses. The goal will be accomplished by porting an existing offline software algorithm to an online FPGA platform. The technology developed under this effort will enhance the DAF and DoD Global Persistent Awareness Strategic Capability by providing a significant improvement in the ability to accurately identify critical signals of interest in a timely manner along with a significant improvement in the efficiency of sensor communication and subsequent data processing.
