Description
Kaney Inc. (Kaney) proposes development of a SAR package and development plan for NSN 6610-00-151-6684, a high-reliability accelerometer for flight data recording systems onboard the B-1 platform. Due to the critical nature of the component, our SAR will be elevated to an engineering services activity (ESA). Kaney has extensive domain knowledge and capabilities related to this part. Through our research into the accelerometer manufacturing/supply base, Kaney has concluded that suppliers of such parts are limited. This part was originally manufactured by Ametek and Kaney’s research shows that manufacturing and qualification of this part will require dynamic systems and aerospace manufacturing expertise, which Kaney provides consistently for similar parts. We are an AS9100 and EASA certified company, and also operate an FAA Part 145 Repair Station and have significant experience in similar product manufacturing and qualification.
