Description
This Phase II effort develops an electronic protection (EP) suite for distributed aperture radars by leveraging adaptive digital beamforming technology. Four major tasks will be pursued. These are Requirements Definition, Design of the EP software and Supporting System Architecture, Software Implementation through a first generation of code, and Test via Simulation. An additional objective of Phase II is to develop a simulation suitable for requirements validation and eventual testing. The detailed simulation will functionally represent the radar design and will be driven by a realistic threat input including terrain effects such as clutter and Terrain Scattered Interference (TSI).
