Description

This Phase II effort addresses improving the performance, efficiency, and cost of interferometer radars by enabling the use of coded continuous wave (CW) waveforms. The focus will be on reducing the transmitter to receiver leakage and providing the additional phase stability across the radar subsystems to allow for detecting, tracking, and measuring long-range targets. Successful completion of this effort could lead to the use of interferometer radars, with their precision angle measurement capability, to perform a number of missile defense missions.
